The Merinda Park Cricket Club formed in 1984 by a group of locals, playing at a High School ground and using a founding members backyard shed as the club rooms. Since then we have moved to our own ground, located at Donnelly Recreation Reserve and are very proud of the clubs history and achievements. We are proud of our strong family values and welcome all members of any background, male or female, to come and be a part of this fantastic club.
We have been associated with the West Gippsland Cricket Association for over 30 years now. Our facilities are newly renovated and are fantastic. We have 3 near new training nets and 2 grounds side by side. We also use the Lyndhurst Secondary College oval for a home ground. The club is fully licensed and offers hot and cold food throughout games and training. We are also an accredited GoodSports Club and promote healthy living and support strong communities.
In our proud history we have won 17 premierships so far in District, A, B, C, D, E, and F grades as well as junior premierships in U13's, U14's, and U17's. We field both Junior and Senior teams and run a junior development Milo In2Cricket program. We cater for all skill levels with teams in the Premier division, right down to G grade and encourage our juniors to play senior cricket.
If you would like to find out more about Merinda Park CC, or perhaps express interest in joining our club, please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to seeing you at Donnelly Reserve soon.
The club welcomes new players of all ages and abilities to both senior and junior ranks. We are particularly looking for senior players in all of our grades to help the development of a wonderful squad of young players as well as enjoy the game themselves.
We field junior teams from U/10 through to U/16's as well as having a thriving MILO In2Cricket cricket squad. We also participate in the WGCA Kookaburra cup T20 competition. If your son or daughter wants to have a game of cricket then we would love them to pick us and become a Cobra in 2017/2018.
Junior Registration Day is on Friday, September 1st, from 5:30PM until 7:30PM. Click here for more details.
